Villa Aria is located between the beaches of Kalafati & Lia, on the Southern side of the island. This exclusive enclave has some of the most spectacular villas on Mykonos belonging mainly to Greek establishment families & is also within a ‘brown zone’ meaning that new building is prohibited resulting in a peaceful landscape where houses are set far apart. It is an oasis for the more discerning visitors which want privacy and a more traditional island feel, while being a short drive to the trendy hotspots of Spilia, Alemagou, Farma and Sol Y Mar. Mykonos town is a 15 minute drive away. The villa is set on a hill with sweeping 180 degree views of the Aegean with Naxos in front & Paros to the right. It has been designed by the preeminent Greek architectural practice and interior designed by London based high end developers Sloane & Cadogan, the result of which is a unique contemporary interpretation of traditional Cycladic architecture & design. A sweeping pergola frames the main outdoor entertaining area which includes a dining table which seats 12, ample lounging space and which faces the infinity swimming pool and the Aegean beyond. To the right of the pool is a bar area and to the left, up a few steps, a further outdoor lounging area. Behind the pergola is a barbeque area with both gas fired and traditional Greek barbeque options. To the left of the pergola and adjacent to the dining area is the ‘Gallery’ where one can relax to watch TV or read a book, all while remaining in the main pool area of the house. One enters the main house into the reception room and leading on to three bedrooms, all on suite and with sea views. The master bedroom also has its own private outdoor terrace area. Stairs lead to the ground floor where there is a staff bedroom and 3 further guest bedrooms, all ensuite and with views to the Aegean. There is also a TV area on this floor. Going out to the garden from the ground floor the pathway leads to the gym and a further ensuite guest room.
